Question ADHD Referral please!

My neighbor is requesting help! Her son is in the 5th grade and she would like a referral for AHDH diagnosis. We are looking for a specialist who deals with this in the state of MARYLAND. Does anyone know of someone who can help her???Thank you

We are in TN but when our son was in 6 grade we had him tested and went through the local children's hospital. Let her know that testing him was the best thing we ever did for him, and us! He is now in the 11 grade and has a 4.0 GPA He has ADD and before he was tested he was failing school all together, his medication has made all the difference in his life.

Congrats Dreamcometrue !!! I hate to think that my son is now a statistic but it's for the best. The difference between him on and off his meds are unbelievable. I'd recommend if anyone has any questions about ADD or ADHD, contact a specialist such as Childrens Hospital medical center.
