Today is my daughter's ninth birthday... I woke her up with her princess (Aurora) crown and singing happy birthday!
BUT the point... NINE! Who gave her permission to get that old??? She is a tween and she knows it! Anyone else have a self proclaimed tween? Want to chit chat about it? Yep.. we are here for adoption, but some of us are just plain old parents too! Any tween antics to gush about? |

Wow, just one year away from the big 10! I swear sometimes my 1 year old is a teenager.
She goes in my drawer, gets my make up brush and walks around "putting make up on" and pursing her lips. Regards Brandy

I can relate to the "tween" situation. My daughter is nine and I am not allowed to refer to her as a "kid" or a "child." She is a Tween and expects to be called one and treated like one. If feels this way at nine, then can I take a vacation for her entire 13th year? I can't imagine what it will be like when she informs me that she is a teenager.

My daughter just turned 8 in May and she is such a tween. Sometimes don't know what to do. I really hope it gets better. Or does it just get worse going into the actual teenage years.
