Need help with readopt
We just moved into the area last month and are trying to complete the readoption of both our children (adoptions completed in Guatemala). Talking to a court clerk this morning I was told that we need to have all our post-placements complete in order for the court to process our request. Does anyone have any advice for how to go about this process? We will not have completed the post-placement requirements for our adoption agency (no homestudy agency in the area yet) until 3 years after each child has been home (DS home almost 2 years and DD home almost 1 year).
