Update & announcement!
Gosh it feels like coming home to see some of the same names still here! Here's a picture of Summer who is now 8 (Gotcha 2006) We have crammed a lot of love & fun into her short life with us. Unfortunately her sister is still caught up in the web of the Amrex mess and we wont give up on her but we decided to begin a new adoption as well.

Congrats on beginning a new adoption!! We've pretty much given up on that. Prayers for the Amrex situation to resolve itself as well.

Funny I just decided to pop on here after a long long time and saw your post! CONGRATS RAINY!! Summer is amazing, and I am thrilled that you are starting another adoption!! I wish we could go back for another, dh would love to, but with the costs and the idea of leaving my 2 behind to travel, I just can't imagine. If we win the lottery though, the paperwork will go in that day
 Sooo awesome to see so many people that played such an important part in our journey to Hannah...just like coming home! Oh yes,and we now have a 2 yr old son Luke, adopted at birth from Vegas!

Praying for a baby girl under 1 year 10/7/04 Signed with Agency 12/04 Completed home study 1/21/05 Completed Dossier 1/25/05 Received I-171H 3/7/05 Dossier to Kemerovo  9/30/05-Got THE CALL! 10/11/05-Had to let her go...medicals  11/05-turned down second referral....medicals Dec. 05-Expired dossier redone Dec 05-sent dossier to Izhevsk 3/13/06 received REFERRAL!  3/16/06 ACCEPTED HER!!  4/8/06...First trip!!!!  Lost referral in-country got a new one! 4/11/06 Signed for a 9 1/2 month old girl!! 5/16/06 Leaving on Trip 2 COURT DATES May 23 and 25th! 5/26/06 GOTCHA!! our prayers have been answered!! We welcome our sweet angel Hannah to our family! 6/2/06 Home forever!  8/09 started paperwork for domestic adoption 9/09 submitted family profile 9/30/09-Got the call! Our baby boy! Due TOMORROW! 10/1/09 Met our son! 10/4/09 Officially ours! Welcome Luke to our family!

It's been quiet here. I am here rarely myself, and glad to see your post. Good luck with another adoption process! I still have great hopes for Summer's sister to come home soon. Let your family here know! Amysue, congrats on adopting your son Luke!!!!!
