New here and have a few questions
Hi everyone
My husband and I are hoping to adopt in Russia. The agency we've been in contact with has been Frank Adoption Agency. There is a specific little boy we'd like to bring home and he has special needs that make it less likely for him to find a family and be adopted domestically.I'm looking for other parents who have adopted children in this situation or who have used Frank Adoption Center. We have an adoption blog set up. Wiehl Of Faith: Here we go! |

Best of luck!
ps BTW, on this Bulletin Board, you can't post your blog's URL/link if it involves a promotion for personal fundraising, even for a great cause like helping adopt a special needs kid. |

hi and welcome. thanks for sharing your blog. i don't think sharing personal blogs is against the rules...??
this is a good place for getting lots of valuable info. please ask all your questions and you will get the answers you need. we can't make the waiting part go away, but we can hopefully make it bearable.

Hello & welcome. You'll get used to the rules quickly. Don't worry about it. No blogs w/ personal fundraisers on them. We have a blog too. I'll give it to you if you'd like. We've adopted 6 from Russia, 1 from Serbia & leaev in 2 DAYS! to bring back our 3 from Bulgaria. We have also used the same agency you are referring to for our Russian adoptions. They are linked to a bigger foundation. I live not too far from their office. Anyhow, just wanted to say welcome, wish you well, & this board is a wealth of info. If you'd like to contact me via pm, go ahead. I won't be able to answer though until we are back home. Nov. 18th we arrive back. So, I fit your situation completely. LOL. Contact me any time. Best wishes on the start of your journey. Ours is finally coming to an end. 10 kids is it for us. Trust me, it will fly by.

Welcome! We have a blog, too. We got Julia - then age 6 - from St. Pete in May, 2006. We have three older bio daughters.
Go to "About" and then see "Russia" and "Adoption" as "Categories" for more info. Becky This Reminds Me |
