Joanna's official 3rd anniversary
Hi to the List,
I remember many of you who supported me along the way of the arduous, but so worth it journey of Russian adoption. Earlier in the day(yesterday) I recalled that it is the 3rd anniversary that we landed home with Joanna at JFK International Airport. I remember all of the struggles we had to become parents. I honestly have to say that Joanna is just about the best thing that ever happened to me. She is adorable, intelligent, athletic, kind, and charismatic. I couldn't ask for more. She also celebrates her 4th birthday next week on Halloween Day! Thanks for letting me share!(sorry I dont like to do pictures online). Amy K, NJ

Great post Amy, and I could have written it!
Happy Birthday to Joanna! Bella turns 4 on Nov 25th and we celebrated our "touchdown day" (I decided to call it that as I think it is so cool that they became citizens when the plane's wheels touched down in the US) on Sept 16th. I will always remember seeing you on the flight from JFK to Moscow! Can't believe how big our girls are!

Thank you all for your support, and your kind words. I have made many good friends from this board, which I never anticipated either.
Congratulations to Bella on touchdown day and on her upcoming birthday. I remember meeting you on that flight too-I think it was at the restrooms lol. I remember you had a dayroom before flying on to the next leg of your trip. We miss Delaney a lot Mamachinch. Let us know when youre coming east so we can meet again(and you have the option to stay with us if you dont mind a pet cat around  ).Thanks very much Becky and Lisa for your kind thoughts.
