You might PM Brandy or Crick if they don't happen to see this. The only thing I can come up with after some poking around is they are a new member. It seems like if they can send PM's they should be able to receive them, but I am not sure!

Not sure why you got an 'invalid recipient" (in fact, I don't can't even find that error listed in our system) - but the reason you can't send Private Messages to him/her is because they have reached the limit in the number of private messages they can have in their PM box.

New users (people with ten posts are fewer) are very limited in their abilities on the site, due to excessive spam/abuse of the site...yes, it does limit legit users from using the site fully, but it's a very small limitation that is easy to move past for legit users.
