Adoption does impact bio siblings!

So my 16 yr old (bio) son Gray got his new class ring bearing his name, tennis emblem, executive board, etc. Puzzled I ask what the three blue, red & white rows meant.
"Mom, It's the Russian flag"....
Stunned, I realized he was honoring his little sister. Proud mom here!!

That is so cool!! What a sweet guy, with a compassionate heart. He and Summer must be crazy about each other, and that's a gift.

The last poster took the words right out of my mouth: I think it's neat too.

That is so awesome! We were just talking the other day about our adoptions and how our older boys accepted thier new siblings. They just accepted them both (even M with his issues) as thier sibs with no hesitations. They are closer to dd than to M because she is attached. My 16 year old works in a movie theater and often takes her to work with him and other places and has no issue being seen with her in his truck. M's behavior often makes them not want to spend time with him, but they are great with him when he is able to handle it.

That is so sweet! I love that he didn't even mention it to you but just did it.

Good to see you here!
