Family Day #3 and Final PPR!!
Saturday we celebrated our third Family Day!!! Last week I sent in our final PPR! Wow, I am overwhelmed and overjoyed! I still can't believe what a wonderful child I get to be a Mommy to! Three years ago I never imagined my life being changed in such an amazing way. Delaney always says, "The judge said we could be together forever and all the days!"
We had a great day, starting with her deciding on Family Day breakfast, three kinds of cheese, bread and butter, granola bar and chocolate milk...greeeat! Then she open her gifts and was totally upset because me and my mom did not have presents! What a sweetie-pie! She said, "It's Family Day we should all get presents!" So, she got princess sheets, a new leotard and skirt for dance, art supplies and a cupcake maker and her Russian gift. Then she made us cards with her art stuff. We made a famous heart shaped cake and went to play miniature golf and rode the bumper boats and played some aracde games. We came home to have our pajama party and made our pajama party food and played games, did puzzles and blew bubbles inside! We watched Finding Nemo, then we slept on the air mattress in the living room! Delaney kept asking when it would be Family Day again....what a blessing and an honor it is to have such a kind hearted daughter! It has also been a blessing to have made friends here on this forum and others and our RIL friends. I have learned so much from everyone, including a very special 4 year old!
