My Sweet, Silly, Six year old Son!
My baby turned six last week!! I can't belive that it's been almost five and half years since this sweet little boy entered our lives. Even though this past year has been tough on him (and all of us) we are looking forward to a super sixth year! I love this little boy more than I thought possible. He is the most compassionate and loving and silly child...he has such a passion for life...regardless of all the curveballs life seems to be throwing his way. He perserves through each struggle and comes out stronger.
He is a 'big boy' now...how did that happen? Here's some recent pictures...even one with me...a very rare thing...LOL! These are from our local beach and his b-day dinner. I took this greats series of shots of him 'discovering' the piece of coral at the beach...but I won't bore you all with them. But it turned out so neat...I'm framing the whole series. Anyway... Thanks for letting me share!

Your son has come a long way and grown so much. I can't believe that he is the same boy. I think I remember a few year ago when you posted a picture of him is his dad's arms at his 2 year old party. You were so excited that he went to his dad because he was struggling so much with attachement.
He has come MILES!

Thanks all...we love him to bits!
And those glasses...they are going to be the death of me. We got them in April and thankfully got the insurance...I swear they hate me at the glasses place. We have certainly gotten our money's worth from the insurance.  I made DH take him on Wednesday to get a new screw and have them adjusted...again! He's finally settled into the summer routine...and we are just waiting on the insurance approval to add Enbrel to his medication mix for his arthritis. The rheumy says within two to four weeks he will be a new man...I hope he's correct! My gut says we will discover many of his other issues will disappear once we get the JRA under control. It's hard to believe from these pictures or even looking at him...how many mountains he's had to climb already...he really is a pleasant and loving little bugger! Thanks again for your kind words. K

He looks so happy! Thank you for sharing such gorgeous pictures. Also, it was fun to see pictures of the beach, since I grew up in Ft Lauderdale (now am in New England) and I believe you are very close to that area
