WOW has it been almost 5 months!! and a picture :)
Hello all!! I have been horrible about keeping posts going, but we have been home with our son almost 5 months and I can't believe that it has been 5 months!! Ben is doing wonderfully!!! He is a 2 year old little boy, enough said hee hee!! His favorite word is NO and he loves tormenting his older sisters. We all love it and would not change a thing.
I posted when we were in Russia how Ben would not go to his Daddy, well...you all were soooo right, he is now a total Daddy's boy!!! He LOVES his Daddy!! One thing that we have had to deal with upon our return is his mouth, since he sucked his finger from birth, the roof of his mouth is some what deformed to accommodate the finger, so his teeth do not meet on the right side of his mouth. Our pediatric dentist said something about putting a retainer on his teeth when his 3 year molars come in, has anyone gone through this at all?? If so what can I expect? Do you recommend it? To everyone still in the process, do not be discouraged, we waited out the summer months just as you are doing now and it was totally worth it, doesn't feel like it when you are waiting but your turn will come. ![]()

I am glad you are popping in every now and then to keep us posted. Once your child is home, it is hard to find the time. (I know. I took a 4 year break from the forum.) He is a real cute little man. I remember when our son met his father. The deep voice and whiskery face through him for a loop. But after he got used to the idea of grown men, he attached to 'his' wonderfully.

I don't know how to do that quote thing that everyone does. I hope that this works. Anyway, I wrote that phrase above and at the time I thought there was something wrong with it, but my brain was obviously functioning on low caffine. I just reread it and realized that I should have spelled it: 'threw'...... not through. oops.
