Please remember that Russia has not ratified the Hague. As a result, you do not have to work with a Hague accredited agency to do a Russian adoption, though Hague accreditation may be a "plus" when evaluating agencies.

You do, however, have to work with an agency that is accredited by the Russian government. NEVER try to do an adoption with an agency that "umbrellas" under an agency that is Russia accredited, but that is not, itself, accredited by the Russian government.

I only need a homestudy agency - who would also do post placemetnt. I have an agency for the "rest".
I am NOT working with Russian, but the country I am adopting from does not do many adoptions at all, so i came to my "old home" for help...

I have eliminated the ones who don't call back -
or speak English well enough for me to understand.
I really want local...driving distance.
