Off to Grandpa's
I don't what makes me laugh at this picture, I snapped it on my Blackberry on the way up my Dad's this weekend. Guess it's "travelling in style" for Little Missy! She was just so casual sitting there watching her movie....
then, poor thing kept watching it the movie as we climbed up the winding mountains and got a little car sick.....blue icee no less! he he!! Only the second time in three years!

My second son used to get really carsick when he was young, but by the time he was around ten he outgrew it, so there is hope.

Y'know, we go see my dad all the time, and she has never gotten sick before. (or any other car trip) I think it was looking down at the DVD player while driving on the winding mountain road. Sure hope so, cause we are going on a 9-hour trip next month!! And she doesn't like the DVD player on the back seat! Goofball !!
The only other time she's ever even thrown up was a flu last year. I am still very bad about it! Was as a kid, too, I didn't outgrow it! Yikes! The only thing that helps me is if I drive. Pinkie, I got car sick last time I was in the UK!!!

I hope Delaney had fun at grandpa's house. I am sorry to hear she got carsick. Maybe it was a random event? Or perhaps you can ask the ped what to do in case she gets it again? I know there are pills for adults(my husband has issues with this at times) but I dont know if these things are ok for kids to take.

She travels in style!
I can relate to the poor girl, Big Boy and I also get carsick. Hawaii was hard for my poor little guy. Lots of switchbacks.

She's wired!
Costco - $5 for 100 car sick pills. I dispense them before every trip of any real length - including to myself. Becky (a.k.a, "Green Face") This Reminds Me |

Becky...thanks!!! I think also, no DVD viewing on hilly or winding roads!
Pinkie!! Of course, last time was 2005, though! But my sis has been living in Scotalnd since last year, so my other sis and I are thinking of a trip soon to see hear, but would stay a few days in London, too. Hope it's sooner than later!!!
