dads & kids
in honor of father's day, please share some of your favorite daddy/kiddo pictures.
here is DH with our kate... it's old, but it's a favorite. kate took a LONG time to warm up to him. 2 yrs later, it's still a work in progress. i love when they share little moments, just the two of them.

Great idea...this is my all time favorite of DS and Daddy. DS hated Daddy at first...screamed like he was being tortured if daddy tried to come near him. On this night, 11 very long months after DS came home...DH's much beloved grandmother was dying...1200 miles away. DH was so emotional...and at exactly the moment she passed away...DS picked up his bottle and walked over to his Daddy climbed onto his lap for the very first time and fell asleep. I like to think that this was DH's spunky little Italian grandmothers last gift to her grandson...his son's love. I know this is hard to believe...but man this picture is priceless to us.

I just realized I don't have any pictures of dh with both of the kids, but here are my two favorites. The one with him and dd is a few years old, but still adorable. And the one with dh and ds is only a few months old.

Great pics, Dads and kids are so cute!!! K- LOVE those blonde curls!!!
Well, here's Delaney with my dad.....she loves her Grandpa. He lives in the mountains and they always go for "woods" walks. The first pic was about 2 weeks after coming home (Aug 06, she was 18 mos.) and the second was this weekend. (she is 4.5!)The other is hugs after giving Grandpa presents. when we were leaving Sunday afetrnoon, she says, "Grandpa, I want to see yo more!" It was so sweet, he lives about 3 hours drive away, so we go up there about every 2-3 months. (my dad does not come to our house, but we're trying!)
