Hurray!! My Referral Is Here!!!!
Hi everyone,
I got the call today!!!!!:  banana:  I finally received my referral for a healthy little boy!  I was told that he is from the region of Krasnoyarsk. I am so so excited, that I already called in to work!! Has anyone adopted from this region? As far as the city, I will not know until travel dates per agency... I will not know travel dates until further paperwork is received that I have to fill out and send back to the agency... Also, our agency said that for the 3rd trip back, we have to stay in-country for approx. 2weeks??? We did not know that!! Any suggestions on travel agents??  I wish all who are waiting a call soon!! I signed with my agency in November 2008 I started my homestudy in December 2008 I sent in my I-600A in January 2009 I started my dossier in the middle-end of January 2009 I had my last Homestudy Meeting February 9th 2009 I got fingerprints for I-600A done on February 10th 2009 I am done with my dossier paperwork. The only thing I am waiting for is my I-600A approval in the mail and then I am done! I handed in my dossier to my agency on June 17, 2009 but one thing had to be redone so it was officially complete on July 14, 2009. Let the waiting begin!  I received "the call" on November 18th 2009 for a referral of a 15mo girl I traveled to Russia and officially accepted my referral on December 15th 2009

Congrats! If the 3rd trip is for pick up - it would need to be at least a week - for the whole Moscow part. Just keep checking about time lines from your agency. I don't know if I can post travel agencies names...so I'll PM you.

Congratulations to you!So happy to hear your great news! Unfortunately I dont know any travel agents, our agency had a travel agent from within whom we worked with. Im sure others on here will help.

Waiting for our little man 1/11/08 - started Homestudy 1/15/08 - turned in USCIS paperwork w/o homestudy 2/21/08 - Homestudy completed 3/08 - found out USCIS lost all of our paperwork 3/08 - refiled with USCIS 3/08 - Fingerprint date with USCIC set for April 4/08 - Fingerprints with USCIS done 4/08 - I-171H!! 9/11 - GOT THE CALL!!! 10/21 - got our first travel dates, we travel 11/22 11/22-11/26 - travelled to Moscow and met our little guy!! 12/19/08 - got our court date 1/29/09 1/26-1/30- In Moscow for court date 2/14-2/21 - In Moscow for final visit. 2/21/09 HOME FOREVER!!!
