Someone asked about Skip's adoption, and whether it was long. Yes, at the time the nine month wait between first visit & court seemed unthinkable. We thought it couldn't possibly get any worse. Boy were we wrong.

As for the boys being lucky, in my heart, I know, each time I look at them that I am the lucky one, for being entrusted with the opportunity to love and raise them...

ok after the tears stop rolling down my face Im going to cut & paste your post and stick it on my board next to my daughters sister who we have been trying to adopt for two yrs now.!!!
our stories are so similar that I told God "me too me too!!!"

I absolutely relate to not coming here,, as the pain is too much when you are hoping against hope in circumstances most PAPs (thank goodness!) will never have to face! My daughter was the last American child out of her region back in 2006. I too hold fast to the promise that God will somehow overcome. Go VOTEMOM and Lovestruck & Lisa & now you! what amazing stories we have seen happen!

I am so happy for your family! Whoo Hoo!! God is GOOD and boy did I need to hear your story today of all days! thank you for being faithful and for allowing me to share in your joy & be encouraged to fight the good fight!!!

Another one in tears here, weeping with joy for your entire family, but especially for your boys that they can now grow up together -- what an answer to prayer!

God bless you all -- so very happy for you, and so encouraged for all the others who are waiting. Coolest news I've gotten in a long, LOOOONNNNGGGG time - just awesome.
