Silly Question About Batteries In Russia
Silly I know but do you know if you can buy D and c sized batteries as a rule in Russia? I was thinking of sending a flash light there but I am unsure if my son's Birth family will be able to easilly obtain batteries. Thanks a bunch!

Ddahl,
I am from Russia and can assure you that there is absolutely no problem in buying batteries C and D. These sizes are commonly available in any store: AA, AAA, C and D. So flashlight would be a great gift!  Tamara

The short answer--yes.
You can get them easily in both cities and little tiny villages. I had to stock up on "C" batteries for some orphanage Christmas gifts. The racetracks, I was informed, NEEDED them. ;>
