We are home!!
We are home and are so in love with our little guy!! It was so hard leaving him in Moscow, but I am hoping that we find out our court dates quickly. We are not expecting to get them until late January early February, but hey it is a light at the end of the tunnel for us. Thank you guys for all of your thoughts and prayers for us, Moscow is cold, and wet, and I was happy to be home in the states but can't wait to go back to see my little guy again.

1/11/08 - started Homestudy
1/15/08 - turned in USCIS paperwork w/o homestudy
2/21/08 - Homestudy completed
3/08 - found out USCIS lost all of our paperwork
3/08 - refiled with USCIS
3/08 - Fingerprint date with USCIC set for April
4/08 - Fingerprints with USCIS done
4/08 - I-171H!!
9/11 - GOT THE CALL!!!
10/21 - got our first travel dates, we travel 11/22
11/22-11/26 - travelled to Moscow and met our little guy!!
12/19/08 - got our court date 1/29/09
1/26-1/30- In Moscow for court date
2/14-2/21 - In Moscow for final visit.
2/21/09 HOME FOREVER!!!

Congrats on your first trip! We also arrived home on Thanksgiving from our first trip after meeting our son. We just celebrated our 3rd Thanksgiving with him and are so blessed. I wish you a speedy return to Russia and all the joy we've experienced with our little guy.

April 2008--starting homestudy paperwork for Adoption #2!!!
October 1 2008--Dossier registered in region
January 2009--Going on Trip #1!

January 16 - Received I-600A/I-797C approval!
February 5 - Dossiers finally registered in Kras
April 23 - Best day ever! Received referral for our little boy
May 15 - Received our referral for our little girl! Yippee!!
May 20-25 - TRIP 1
July 29th Court Date Rescheduled - orphanage quarantine
August 5, 2008 - New Court Date
August 6 - Adoptions Approved
August 14 - Depart JFK Trip 3
August 18 - Pick up Babies
August 23 - Home Forever

Hi Amy!

Congrats on a great trip #1! I am patiently (or not so much) waiting for trip #2 these days as well!!! So the Amy's can wait together. I got home from trip #1 on 10/25 -- but the holidays are a tough one because they can mess up all the dates!!
