Six months ago with a 4 yr old and 2 1/2 yr old boys, I would have said no.
Now that things are easier, I have that ache again, I always did want 3 so I guess that is why.
DH-no way, he is done.
I like to think, never say never. Keep playing powerball each week and I am hoping for the best!
I would still go back to russia, probably either gender, 2-3 yrs of age.

YES, I'd do it in a heartbeat if money was no object. For us to really consider it, we'd also have to have the dollars for mamma to stay at home (at least during the transition period). I'm a nurse, so when the 12 weeks run up, I would be "forced" to go back to work (I also carry the full time health benefits since my husbands' work is "iffy" and we live in southeast michigan).
Our daughter will be starting kindergarten in the fall of 2009 and we've actually been talking about it lately.
My preference would be a boy between 24 months and 3.5 years.
My husband would probably prefer to consider adopting from our U.S. foster system. Something that prevents us from taking any action is that we'd want our daughter to be "oldest" and frankly, don't want to upset the balance of our family and "undo" any of the hard work of having a happy, stable, healthy daughter.

I'd have to say no. I always just wanted two, one boy and one girl. I have that! DH actually wanted more, he is one of 6 kids. I thought for a while that I'd like 4, two of each. Perhaps bridging the 6 year age gap between our two... However, as much as I totally love DD, believe with all my heart that she was meant to be mine, and wouldn't ever want to lose her - she is
TOUGH.... I don't think I could handle more kids... Nothing against my children, esp. DD. It's not her fault. She has done amazingly well considering her start. I just have all I can handle right now...

I think about adopting again alot. Mainly because I think about all the children left behind.

However unless we get a call that S has a sibling we will most likely not adopt again. With three children life is very busy and I don't know if I could truly give of myself any more than I am now. Maybe when S is a couple years older I would think about an older child (actually I think about this circumstance all the time, but DH does not agree).

We would most likely adopt from Kaz again because we had such a wonderful experience, however I would consider Russia too.

If money were no object, then I would do it without hesitation. But that money would have to be sufficient for me to work only part-time for a few years once the new child came home.

We could probably raise the cash to go through the process again if we raided some of our long term investments, etc but then there is the money for when they come home for daycare, food, clothing, etc.

We are happy as a family of three, but some days my heart aches for one more... and Alex would love a younger sibling. I would adopt a toddler this time around due to my age.

Yes, Yes, YES!!!!!! We would go back to St. Pete and bring home another little boy, age 36 months or younger. I would be at my agency's door when they opened tomorrow if I had the $. It's make me so sad that it's our only obstacle....but the fact remains that it's a HUGE obstacle. Boo hoo hoo.....I still pray, though! I'm still saving all of Jax's clothes and his crib is in the attic. You never know, right? It doesn't hurt to hope!!!!

MINO...hand me the money and the application would go in as it was hitting my hand. I still have the "Kayden" file with the amounts we would need. I don't have the heart to delete it. I play PowerBall solo as well as with a group from work. It's my only hope for another child...and retirement for that matter!!

We would want another little boy. Probably born between early 2005-early 2007. We would use the same agency and I would sure try to hold out for the same region...maybe even the same baby home. Then again, we roled the dice with our son so maybe that's what I would do again.

If money were no object, and that meant I could quit my job and fully dedicate myself, I would do what I could to bring home my son's 10-year-old brother who is still in an orphanage.

We are in the process of adopting 2 more children from Russia. A boy and another girl this time. We would like for their age to be under 18 months. We hope to go back to Kirov, but if the wait is long, we will open up to all regions.
