I600 Form Question
I just wanted to know how long it took for your I600 form to be processed. I looked at there website and there last update was 8/31 and they had just complete February's forms. So that would be a 6 month wait. Could you share how long it took your form to be processed? I hope it is not going to take 6 months.

It really depends on your office. I am in Michigan - so the form was processed in Detroit. Mine took about 10 weeks total from when they received my form until the time I received my 171H.
Maybe someone else from your area (I see from your profile you are in NJ) can attest to that specific office.

It also really depends on how quickly you get your homestudy done and sent in.... Our fingerprint appointment was about five weeks after I mailed the I-600. Now we're waiting for the HS to be sent in so that we can get our 171-H approval!

No experience with Newark, but I can tell you that those dates on the website are notorious inaccurate so I wouldn't put much stock in what it says.
