I live 15 minutes from philly and it is very crazy here. Philly fans are nuts.

I live an hour + from Philly and it was definitely mayhem. I'm a HUGE HUGE DIE-HARD, lifelong NY Mets fan though so it was a depressing day/week/month for me.
 Hee hee...My dh grew up in West Chester and is a Phillies fan though so he was quite happy with the outcome, and if it makes him happy it can't be all that bad.  LOL.Enjoy the celebration...it's particularly exciting for little ones. I remember when I was young 10 and the NY Mets won the World Series. I was in HEAVEN!!!!

on the news they showed a street scene in an aerial view from the Phila parade. I didnt know so many folks lived in Phila.(coming from a NY gal...) What a parade!

Here's some more Phillies Spirit. We were in FL with my parents when the world series began. I was born and raised a phillies fan but have lived in Boston for most of my adult years...so also a major red sox fan as well. I came within a win of having to pick....
the first pic is my parents, Kira and I, then the shark is where my boston friends would throw me if they saw the first pic...the princess pic is to give my sox equal time... Actually I wore my red sox hat and phillies shirt to the beach in Daytona one day...that got a few comments to say the least!.
