The happiest place on Earth!
We returned home from Walt Disney World on Sunday night. It was an exhausting 10 days...not a relaxing vacation for sure. The kids loved the pace, unless they got hungry...you don't want a hungry kid at Disney. We ate a lot more than normal. My children were overall VERY well behaved. Typical bickering amongst themselves and why or why do these parks make the lines go through ropes that can be unhooked...it's like a bowl of candy. Anyway, no major meltdowns although each of them had their "shining" moments. We laughed alot together and I was happy for that. It was the longest we've ever gone (10 days) of literal 24 hours a day...we shared one small room and actually got some sleep. So, a great time for all of us! By the way, that Disney book I read like 5 times was a God send...totally helpful tips! Here are a few pictures:

Great photo's and it looks like you all had a great time. We had a blast in February when we went to Disney but it did take me about a week to get over it!

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I really enjoyed the pictures! If you wouldn't mind PMing me the name of the book, I'd appreciate it. We're heading to Disney in March.

We stayed at Port Orleans - Riverside. I was shocked that it was a moderate - kind of like a room at a holiday inn...but it was fine for us as we were basically only there to sleep. The grounds were quite nice as well. It's a huge property and we were lucky to be near the bus stop and restaurants...
The book is Walt Disney World with Kids 2008 - I'm sure there is already a 2009 version. It's written by Kim Wright Wiley and seriously, we used a TON of her tips and we skipped a million lines by doing certain rides/character greets at certain times! That St. Basils thing is AWESOME, actually we were mesmerized by all the lego stuff - who has that kind of time???

It's in Downtown Disney. There is a huge lego store - you can't miss it and the St. Basils is in a "window" on the outside of the store...they have scenes from all over the world! Be sure to really look at the serpent coming out of the water - it's made of legos also - took us a couple of days to figure it out! If you are heading over there - you may want to make reservations at the new restaurant - T REX - we couldn't get in - too booked...but people were raving about the experience.
