Sunny little people - photos of adopted children
I just love this page. It makes me want to cry - of joy. Hee is Russian Radio program - they maintain this page of photos - picture of a child in an orphanage and next to it - after being home. Some children only been home for a month or less, but the change is amazing! Page is in Russian, but needs no translation.
Look here: Детский вопрос same site gives links to different orphanages and children available for adoption. Детский вопрос Click on blue words next to small square photos on that page |

Thanks for sharing. Wish I knew how to read Russian and could read the captions under the photos. Beautiful children.

I LOVE seeing before and afters. There is so much difference in the physicality of a child when they know they are loved and are being cared for.
I repost this from time to time when it's needed: For easy langauge translation If you have a Google toolbar (and it's easy to get free online if you don't), right click any Russian (or other foreign language) page. A window will open with options. Click on Page info (near the bottom of the window). New options appear. Select "Translate to English" and you get near instant English. It take a couple of seconds - depending on your processor speed, but is very quick. Hope it helps. |
