Sixth Adoption Anniversary...My little Firecracker!
Six years ago in a Tomsk courtroom we were granted the adoption of our dear baby girl. It had been a grueling two days of court...many hours spent worrying, wondering amd waiting for the judge to decide if a tiny and sick baby girl would be allowed to become part of our family. On July 2nd 2002, the day before little Liliya turned 11 months old, the judge declared us her parents. The next day, we were handed a little spitfire we named Arianna Liliya and headed off to Moscow...where we spent the 4th of July as a happy family of three.
My baby girl is now almost seven and getting ready for 2nd grade...she is a sweetheart...a fish...and a very natural and great little golfer. She has captured our hearts and we love her beyond words. She is truly a blessing...we thank God for her daily. Thanks for letting me share...here is a referral photo, one from when she was home for two years, one from her anniversary dinner, and a couple recent ones.

what a little itty bitty she was!
and that pacifier - that was the kind our kate used at the baby home but i never could find any to buy and bring home with us. i'd forgotten about that until i saw that picture of arianna. congratulations mama & papa and brother & sister!

Sort of scary...and tough because she knows how good she is. Life lesson involved in there somewhere for certain.
