Monsters Monsters Everywhere

I have to share the cutest monster idea I have ever seen. Ava has decided that monsters are now in her room. Ellen went in her room to help her get rid of the monsters by making up this little chant. "Monsters monsters everywhere, monsters monsters get out of my hair." They held hands and Ellen got Ava to repeat this. Then they gathered all the monsters up and put them in a little container and went and flushed them away. BOOM! No more monsters and off to sleep she went. SOOOO CUTE!

Cute and how sweet!!! My mom told Delaney we had a Monster-Free house, that plus the Monster spray has worked. Of course, the first night, everything in her room was soaked!
Flushing them down the toilet is perfect!

My oldest just reminded me that I made up stories for him and his brother about monsters. He remembers one about a monster named Henry that was sent to give kids happy dreams but one kid woke up and called him a monster and so he hid under the bed and cried because his mom had told him he was handsome. But that mean kid called him a monster just because he had only one eye and blue fur. Now he is scared of kids and hides under the bed. So if they told him he was a handsome monster he would give them good dreams and go home. Another one they remembered was the monster who was also sent to give them good dreams (something on Sesame Street I think once promptd the happy dream monstery idea) but he was terrified of toys. He saw a teddy bear and thought it was a real bear that was going to eat him. He saw toy cars and thought that the were real and going to run him over. So we discussed how we had to put all the toys away every night so they would not scare him when he came. I think that monster was named Andy or something. There were more, but since I made them up on the fly I don't remember them and my boys only remembered those two.
