Perm
We just found out yesterday that we will be adopting from Perm and that we are now officially waiting on our referral.
Is anyone else adopting from Perm/ or has recently adopted from this area?

6-20-2008: Call from caseworker saying that our child would be from Perm. 6-16-2008: Officially waiting for our referral. 6-6-2008:Rest of dossier sent to Russia to be translated. 5-27-2008: Stage 1 documents sent to Russia to be translated. 5-2-2008: Updated Home Study done for Russia. 4/2008: Learned Guatemala was not going to open until 2009- Decided on Russia. 2-12-2008: Decided that Vietnam's program was not stable enough go through- looking at Guatemala. 12-15-2007: Original Home Study done for Vietnam. 9-12-2007: Application into Lifelink (adoption agency).

I know my agency goes to Perm but that was not our region. I would look at Yahoo for the perm regional forum and I would ask your agency to speak with another couple who has traveled there recently to get some current info on what to expect in region.

Perm
We adopted from Perm, we came home Dec 31st of 06. We loved Perm, our DD was 4the day we came home with her. She is from Berizniki
