Just wondering what recent, first-hand information you might have on the Moscow region. Anyone?

Kate, My info is several years old now (autumn 2005), but if there's anything I can answer for you, I'll do my best.
There's also a Moscow yahoo group that is pretty active. But it covers Moscow region *and* Moscow city, which run quite differently, so sometimes it's difficult to decipher who's talking about what!
