Does it get more American....
Our oldest (9) started lacrosse last summer and played through the fall with high school kids - just drills and easy scrimages, not hard-core games. We had to bypass the early spring season because of some high-stakes testing for 4th-graders here in Louisiana. But now that late spring has rolled around, the tests are behind him and his little brother (6) has joined him on the field. No. 2 son is a different kid on the field with respect to his attentiveness and desire and ability to follow directions. And his presence has considerably upped No. 1 son's game - who thinks being a middie is about as good as life gets. He played his first 'real' game last weekend and when it was done, said, "This is the best day of my life."
Pic is Luke (left), 6, and Clay, 9, both adopted from Saratov in 04 and 98, respectively. |

What a GREAT picture.
I have to admit that Lacrosse is one of the few sports I know nothing about, but if my boys saw the uniforms they would probably want to know more!
