I truly believe if you open your heart and your mind to God's will then the places He will take you are far better then what you could have ever imagined.
Prayers for this baby girl, her family and her possible future parents if God is to lead you/her that way.

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007

Your story has me crying. Crying tears of joy at what might be for your family, crying tears of sadness for Baby 'K', and crying for my heart feels the Word of the Lord coming through your email.
My prayers are with that baby, that she may come to live and be loved in the home that God predestined for her. This does sound like an event of pure divinity. However, God works in mysterious ways, and getting your hopes up, is a leap of faith on your part. If this child isn't the one who He chose for your family, then it may just be His way of telling you that it's your time again! That now, after a long one-year wait, is the time to seek out and bring home your little girl. The Lord's Blessings are amazing when we just open up our hearts to His Glory. It amazes me everyday how His blessings are so much better than what I had ever hoped for my own life. Our own plans pale in comparison to what He has planned for us. Many prayers and much love sent your way... Jessica

Adopting one boy and one girl from Krasnoyarsk May - October, 2007 - Researching adoption & interviewing agencies October 17 - Signed with Placing Agency...dossier paperchase begins! October 19 - Signed with Homestudy Agency October 22, 2007 - Filed I-600A November 26 - Picked up approved homestudy! December 28 - Apostilled Dossier & Homestudy arrive in Russia January 4, 2008 - Find out our dossier is being registered in Krasnoyarsk January 5-January 29 - Nitpicking of documents by Inspector in Krasnoyarsk; five rounds later, we are finally good-to-go January 16 - Received I-600A/I-797C approval! February 5 - Dossiers finally registered in Krasnoyarsk April 23 - Best day ever! We received a referral for our little boy. May 15 - Received our referral for our little girl! Yippee!!!  May 20-25 - Traveling to Siberia to meet the little ones! Court Date ~ July 29, 2008

Dixie, may God bless each and every one of you involved in this situation. God works in mysterious ways. Maybe this is why you were meant to wait.
My heart hurt as I put all of the things we had saved for Kayden in a yard sale a few weeks ago. My youngest dd's stuff and the weird stuff sold. NONE of Kayden's things sold. I wonder if that was my sign not to give up yet?
