I haven't posted in a long time, but wanted to put an update on for those who I became aquainted with...
Jaxon turned 4 on March 14. He is 43 inches tall and 32 pounds. He is the light of our lives. His sense of humor and smile are contagious. He definitely has "ideas of his own" and we are working on answering all of the "whys" of the world. He is still slightly speech delayed, but has caught up by leaps and bounds. I am attaching one of the pictures we had taken in honor of his 4th bday along with an Easter family picture. For some reason, my scanner would only do the one pic in gray scale, but you get the general idea... Shawna

Beautiful family, Miss Shawna. My son is 5 and I don't know if you remember but you and I had both of our trips almost simultaneously. So glad to hear you are doing well.

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007
