Received a Happy piece of Paper!

It is so sad that an envelope came in the mail and I was so happy. The last time an envelope made me happy was my acceptence letter into college. The piece of paper was from USCIS giving me and my husband a date to get fingerprinted. I am hoping that this is a good sign that things I pray will go smoothly. I had my last homevisit. We went over the report I asked for some minor changes. I hope to have teh final report by teh beginning of April and I can send everything to get apostilled. Hoping and praying that by April's end Dossier will be sent to my agency and and finally off to RUssia. Well that it what I am hoping and praying for. I leave it in God's hands.
Hope everyone has a happy and blessed Easter. My Forum Friends I thank you for your support. In starting this endeavor I could never imagined taht I would find a such a special place as this, God bless each and every one of you.

OH HAPPY DAY! I remember awaiting my date for finger printing. Wear gloves if you do any cleaning until you go. It makes it easier to get fingerprints. The chemicals in household cleaners can erode your prints. I think you can work the no cleaning angle for several months at least....wink wink! Congrats! You are so efficient!

As another user said, one step at a time. I remember getting fingerprinted and then the I171H is a big deal.

Great news! Try not to focus too much on the process so that every little hiccup doesn't drive you crazy. And it will be on one of those 'everyday' kinda days that you'll get a call out of the blue telling you your child is waiting! Congratulations.
