We haven't had a picture parade in a while so....
I'll start one. I am home sick today and finally downloading and editing some recent pictures and now I feel the need to show off my babies. (Who are really not babies any more.
 )Come all you proud momma's and pappa's...show off your Russian beauties and cuties!!! Here is DD (6.5 yo) posing...check out her shoes...this kid loves sparkly, glittery things! The bottom one is her first 'published' book! DS is 4.5 and is showing off his favorite girl...Sadie-dog.

They have 'matured' (looks wise anyway-LOL) alot. Are you going back this summer? I know some families are just going...we probably will go for a few nights. Thanks, Karen

LOL! Yes, they do look like 'big kids' now.
Unluckly, by the time we heard some families were going anyway, we were deep into a big (i.e. expensive!) kitchen remodel. I am still hoping for a big windfall that would allow us to go, but for the moment, it just isn't in the budget. Airfare alone for 5 is just shocking. We had so much fun and would just love to go again, so I am still holding out some hope!

I'm taking the liberty of making this my first official "before and after" post!
I don't know what order these will be in, but here is our son in his databank picture, his referral picture, and two since we came home in November.

Cute pictures!!
Here are my two with the Easter bunny. We send out Easter cards to our friends and family because we usually do not see everyone at Easter. Notice Girlie with Bitty Baby in matching outfits. She's very excited about that!

I haven't posted one of H over here in forever. Here is one of him using his new skates earlier this week. He also recently received an EasyBake oven and here he is using it for the first time.

I don't know that I've ever posted before and afters. I'll give this a shot. I always love seeing all the beautiful faces and know this was so helpful during the long wait. I don't stop by as often as I used to, and it's amazing to see how much some of your kiddos have grown! Thanks to all of you have already shared!
Ok...if this works, here are the photos: one the first day we met April 2006, red dress is 2 year old photo, baptism photo 12/2006, home 1 year in floral shirt, 3 year old photo in gold dress, and 1st day of preschool at 37 months.

It's funny...even though my youngest has been home almost 4 years (I'll post about that tomorrow) I still get the biggest smile when I look all of the precious kiddos.
Becky~Julia just gets cuter every time you post. LouLouBelle~Your DD is beautiful! Paula~Henry is so dang cute...I love the fact that he is a chef already. GCS~Beautiful kiddos as always. We are going to see the E. Bunny after church this Sunday...hopefully our pic. will turn out as good as yours. kahoxworth~Congrats on your 1st before and after...he is a sweetie in all 4 pictures! kretz~Your kiddos all look great and so happy! Love those candid shots. JustBarbara~Funny you should mention DS's hair. His 4th Adoption Anniversary is this weekend and as I always do...I wrote a post about the past year. I always post pictures of him...and this year I am thinking of calling it 'Alex's Hair ThroughThe Years.' This boy has had more hair styles than his big sister. By the way...we spike it now because it is very thick and still has some curl left in it...so it gets crazy! Here's a old picture of my surfer dude...I miss his curls so much! And another from around his first birthday...the other is around 16 months old. Ophelia.~Just keep at it...soon you will be joining us!!! Thanks and keep those pictures coming...Easter and Spring are coming...so let see those cuties in their new spring outfits!! Here are some recent of my Kaz (Russian) cutie.
Next week will mark the year anniversary that we left for Kaz. All the kids are as beautiful as always, literally, all of them!! Can't believe how grown up many of them look.

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007
