How Do I Re-Size My Pictures??

Hi! We have been home with our baby girl for almost two months now. I'd like to post a picture but when I try it says the picture, or file, is too big! Does anyone know how to tell me how to resize my picture? Thanks in advance!!
Jennifer

1. Open the photo in paint.
2. Go to the image tab> click on "strech/skew"
3. In the box that pops up under "strech", put in 70%. Click "ok" button. Keep doing this until photo is a decent size. (if you make it too small, you can undo it via edit>undo.)
4. Save.

For some reason I don't have "paint" I open mine in adobe imageready (may be software that was downloaded vs coming with the computer) but if you have that, open the picture then go to image size, I usually do 40% then "save optimized as" to save it or it won't work. Hope you can do it, we would love to see pics!
