OT~ Who are you rooting for in the Super Bowl?

Although DS is really a 'Fins Fan (Miami Dolphins)...these pictures should answer the question. (I had minor surgery yesterday...so I am finally getting caught up on my home computer...so watch out! Daddy has the kids and mommy has lots of free time and no lifting...LOL!!)

When I read the title of your thread my 1st thought was, who's playing? and when are they playing? Not much on football here, but your children are cute and I wanted to say so.

Thanks so much! And it is the NY Giants (DH and I are both from NY and are long time Giants fans...even when they sucked and choked all the time.) The other team is those dang New England Patriots who haven't lost at all this year and are favored to win big over my Giants!!! The Patriots are going for a perfect season....haven't had one of those since DS's favorite team the Miami Dolphins did it in 1972. (Yes I LOVE football.)

I'm rooting for the giants because I don't care for Tom Brady and I think Eli's been in Peyton's and Archie's shadows long enough. If I had my druthers, I would be rooting for the Colts, though.

Apparently I'm in the minority, but I'm rooting for a perfect season for the Pats!!

GO ELI and the GIANTS!!!!!!

If my wish had been granted Eli and Peyton would have been up against one another, but since that didn't happen I hope Eli goes all the way!!!

I'm also rooting for the Giants...something about the Pats this year has me all fired up...really want to see them brought down a notch. BTW, angelkisses - Sports Illustrated has the Giants winning 24 to 20...so not everyone thinks it will be a blowout!

Im not a football fan(heck I dont even know how the game is played and I'm in my mid thirties...never learned). I guess the Giants by default since I live in NJ. My friend, who is a football fan, told me that he predicts that the Giants are going to lose big. (I dont know the reasons behind this though).

Ok, Tom Brady is waaaaaaay cute, and the Patriots are a great team but it is the other Tom I'm rooting for this time- the Giant's coach Tom Coughlin - he endured so much scorn and ridicule whne the Giants were tanking, and he came through like a champ, worked hard and never quit. I think the Giants deserve to win and I hope they do.

The Giants! I am a Jets fan by default (my hubby is a lifelong Jets fanatic) but I root for both my hometown teams, and always pulled for Big Blue in the SuperBowl! I have never been a Pats fan to boot

Plus the energy here in NY is insane, everyone's riled up and ready to cheer them on to win!! They really showed up back in Dec when they played and almost knocked the Pats off, so I'm hoping that was just a warm up to get the job done

Can I root for them both to lose? Definitely sick of NE and the cheating thing and being from Philly, I cannot root for a NY team.
So I will go to the party for food and fun and the commercials!

Ummmm Kris, I don't know very much about football but, gee, doesn't at least one team have to win?

Vegas is taking the Pats by 14, I overheard a guy at work saying something about it. Personally, I don't think they will win by 14. I dislike the Patriots but think they will probably win. Heck I'm from Wisconsin.. live here you have to be a Packer fan (does any other team matter?).

Giants! I think the Patriot's need to be taken down, lol! It's great that they did so good this year, but sad b/c it will always be remembered by the year they were caught cheating.
