Does anyone have any ideas for fundraisers for International adoptions? We've head of people doing dinners, but have no idea how to go about it! Any other ideas would be great. Thank you!

I've done two adoptions in the past three years, and I raised most of the money by doing a home equity line of credit for my daughter, then for my son I cashed in a 401-k rollover.

I am strapped for cash this Christmas, but I've raised over $100 in the last few weeks by selling things on E-Bay. I have a friend who is an E-bay queen and can make several thousand dollars in a few months. Look into it.

Also, I work for a large company and they have an adoption grant. My state also gave me a $2,000 grant because I brought home an older child. See what your state offers.
