Home Sweet Home
After what seems like years of angst and heartache, I quickly write this with twin 18 month old boys tugging at my pants leg for attention. We adopted them from St. Petersburg, Russia and brought them home on October 28th. We are beginning to realize why we had to endure everything we did to reach this point!
Spare time is a premium now so I won't get much of a chance to peruse the boards that much anymore but to those of you waiting, please realize there is light at the end of the tunnel! Bets ofluck to all who are waiting. Patrick & Jessica

Patrick & Jessica 03/01/06 - Research adoption options 04/01/06 - We chose international adoption but were approached for a domestic adoption. 04/01/06 to 12/12/06 - Domestic Adoption (Eventually failed) 12/12/06 - Happy Birthday Joseph! 12/28/06 - Birthmom changed her mind and took Joseph back. 01/15/07 - Trying to pick up from where we were this time last year. 01/26/07 - Submitted I-600A (USCIS in St. Paul) 01/30/07 - Formally signed on with local agency for homestudy 02/09/07 - Received fingerprint appointment set for 02/24/07 02/24/07 - Fingerprints done in 15 minutes! 03/21/07 - Formally chose Russia for homestudy and CIS purposes 06/27/07 - Signed on with agency 07/04/07 - Agency received accreditation! 08/01/07 - Received referral for twin boys! 08/17/07 - Notice of 1st Trip for 09/10/07! 09/16/07 - Returned from Trip 1 09/20/07 - Notified of Trip 2 & Court for 10/18/07 10/18/07 - Court 10/28/07 - Home Sweet Home!

Congratulations!!!!!!! Twins are a LOT of work (as you have already found out LOL); you're in for quite an adventure.
I hope you get some sleep. My twins (almost 13) are now babysitting little brother and cleaning the house for me. I know these feats seem unimaginable now, but they do grow up quickly. You will come up for air eventually! Peace, Cindyc

congratulations to all of you!!
how wonderful that you had such a short wait between trips! we brought home our "virtual" twins in july. they are six days apart. now home almost four months, the progress they have made is nothing short of amazing. here's to a good night sleep tonight for all of you!

They are gorgeous!!!! I'm so jealous. Enjoy those boys. ahh, double trouble...watch out terrible twos! But I am so sure after your longer journey, you will cherish every "boy moment".
