Holiday picture parade
I know it is bit early but anyone else take their pictures for their hoilday cards? Chanukah is early and we want to get cards out to our Jewish relatives and friends in early December.
Sears messed up something and gave us a CD of our pictures to compensate which was great since they usually charge an arm and a leg to get it that way and now I have the pictures on the computer without having to scan them.

How sweet! What a cutie, I am sure everyone will love their cards!!! She always has this sure of herself look! I ordered cards and used existing photos, but am planning for us to go have pictures taken..if I am not too late! Yikes!!!

We all had the day off today for Veteran's Day, so we had family photos done this morning. They didn't turn out the way I dreamed them up in my head, but I always have high expectations. LOL!

I haven't even thought about cards yet but my Mom is doing one with her five grandchildren - the pic was taken this summer in VT at Bella's christening. I love it!

I love your pictures, we always get them done at Sears and they do such a good job. We just got ours done this weekend and I wanted to buy the CD but it was just too expensive - lucky you!

Russiamomto3, I absolutely love the Christmas card picture. The coloring is so artistic and beautiful. The others are great, too, but I particularly noticed the colored lights and how neat that was.

Wow! You guys are so on top of things! All the pictures look great.
I'm still in the planning stage right now. Maybe we'll get the pics we need for it this weekend.

RussiaMomto3 ~ Just beautiful !!! I tried myself to get artistic last year....well, what was I thinking with a 20 month old? I finally got one I ended up croping, etc to make it work. Still haven't taken holiday pics yet, but here's the front of our card for this year....at least that's done....

All of the photos are just lovely! I finished buying my outfit for our formal photo. I plan to give one to my parents and my fil for their Chanukah gift. My husband is going to call the portrait studio and set it up.

We actually used a black and white shot of Adrian that DH took a couple of weeks ago at the beach (we tend to stay away from the traditional pictures at hoilday time and go with something a little more candid). Its a beautiful pix of him playing in the surf and it really has a feeling of "peace" and "happiness", exactly the sentiment we wanted for our Christmas cards so it worked out great for that use. The cards came out beautiful and I am in the process of addressing them so that they will be ready to be mailed the day we come back from our Thanksgiving holiday travels.
