I didn't read all the replies, so I don't know if this was mentioned.
Our son had the same problems, but never tested positive for Giardia. He was tested for everything...celiacs etc. Nothing. We then realized while on vacation that it was JUICE !!! Watered down or not, any type of juices does it. The doctor said that she thinks he is allergic to Sorbitol !!! It is found in lots of things but mostly in the fruit juices. He can have fresh fruits with no problem. Basically the Sorbitol causes him to have IBS. Worth trying to limit his Sorbitol and see what happens.
