In St. Pete & Does Anyone Know Where......
Hi! My husband and I are in St. Pete to meet our daughter, finally!! Does anyone know where to buy a traditional russian costume/dress? We went to the city mall and to the market place by The Church of Spilt Blood but they only had Russian trinket type things. It's Sunday night here, right now, and we will be here til the end of the week. Thanks in advance! This is such an exciting time for us!! : o )

06/2006 Accepted by Agency 07/2006 Starting Homestudy 09/2006 Homestudy complete  10/2006 Sent in I600A with Homestudy 11/2006 Fingerprint appointment and I-171H received ONE WEEK later!! 11/2006 Dossier complete and officially "waiting" 7/2007 WE GOT "THE" CALL!!!!! Accepted referral of a precious girl under the age of 18 months  10/2007 Trip 1 dates! Yay! In Russia Oct.12-18 11/15/07 Trip 2 Court Dates Dec.4-9 YAY!!! 12/2007 Picked up our 19 month old daughter on Christmas Day!

We bought ours in a store on Old Arbat St. in Moscow. It's a very popular street, mostly for tourists. Maybe you can wait until you are there on trip 2 to get the dress.

I hope everything goes great! OUr dd is from baby home #6... - here is shop that had tons of stuff - not sure if they had costumes or not...it was called the babushka art store...the address is St. Petersburg, 33, Leienanta Shmidta emb....I will pm you the website... St. Petersburg is an amazing city - I hope you have a wonderful trip!

WE had the sma etrouble ther but for boys costumes. There were girls costumes in the hotel gift store near the St. Iasics cathedral, this was in the Angleterre next to or rather attached to the Angleterre. Good luck! Try to take a tour of Peterhoff Palace its fantastic!

The hotels are on the corner and you can see the cathedral from the hotel door way. Walking distance to cathedral and Hermitage from the hotel. Good luck!

We found one in the AngleTerre Hotel. This is located across from St. Isaac's Cathedral.
