South Florida Get together???
Seeing Becky26's thread made me realize how long it has been since we had one of these.
Maybe we can look to do one in Tradewinds Park in October or early November. Or somewhere else mutually agreeable. I was just thinking Tradewinds because it is central to the 3 county area and easily accessable... Any takers?

I am in. Now that I am not working, I will actually be able to go to these types of things. Count us in. We are out of town the nihgt of hallowen for three days though.

I would love to meet you and your beautiful kids once again! Perhaps there is a park a little bit further south...
 Something like South or Mid Broward would be great!

South Broward sounds good...since you have so far to drive up to us. That being said...anyone know of any family friendly parks down that way. I know there has to be some...but I rarely leave a 5 mile radius of my house these days.
 I'll research it tomorrow while I am supposed to be working. Do we dare try a beach trip?

A beach trip is fine - just give me time to get $50,000 worth of liposuction.
Might I suggest Tree Tops park in Davie? Karen you have been there, it was the site of a certain adoption agency picnic about 3 years ago.

Is Disney anywhere near where yall will meet?
Two of the families we adopted with are meeting us at Disney the week after Thanksgiving. Any chance yall could get together then and we all could meet???

A little too far...about 3 to 4 hours for us and my kiddos are in school as well. Too bad...I would love to meet up especially at Disney. Bumping up.....

Praying for a baby girl under 1 year 10/7/04 Signed with Agency 12/04 Completed home study 1/21/05 Completed Dossier 1/25/05 Received I-171H 3/7/05 Dossier to Kemerovo  9/30/05-Got THE CALL! 10/11/05-Had to let her go...medicals  11/05-turned down second referral....medicals Dec. 05-Expired dossier redone Dec 05-sent dossier to Izhevsk 3/13/06 received REFERRAL!  3/16/06 ACCEPTED HER!!  4/8/06...First trip!!!!  Lost referral in-country got a new one! 4/11/06 Signed for a 9 1/2 month old girl!! 5/16/06 Leaving on Trip 2 COURT DATES May 23 and 25th! 5/26/06 GOTCHA!! our prayers have been answered!! We welcome our sweet angel Hannah to our family! 6/2/06 Home forever!

Amysue, we would love to have you but I think it's about five hours - you'd have to do a sleepover! (which would be fine) we are all over Broward County. One or two in S. Palm Beach County.

It took us about 4 hours to get to the hotel... D~ I will coordinate...with everyone's help of course. I know there are more of us...let me PM a couple of folks who showed interest or attnded last time.

Hey Wendrew...you were one I wanted to PM...
How is Tree Tops Park in Davie for everyone? Last time we did Betti Stradling Park in Coral Springs but I know that may not be good for everyone this time. I am open to park suggestions... Dates? Let's start with day...Saturday or Sunday...which is better? For us, the only thing we have is DD is in gymnastics until 10:15 on Saturday mornings, so I am open to either. Also, ANY adoptive parents who are local who would like to join us...please feel free. I just invited a local mom who adopted from Guatemala...so anyone who reads this and would like to join us...let us know.
