How are all our waiters doing?
I was wondering how all our waiters are doing. I do think of you all and believe me when I log in, the first thing I do is scan the headings for any travelling news before I open up any of the other Threads.
Prayers and good thoughts going out to you all and I hope the phones RING soon with good news.

I'm grateful that our process has gone so smoothly and much faster than many other families', so I can't complain. Actually I guess I should say I shouldn't complain...because I still do
 We've been told to expect a court date in November so at least we have some manner of timeline in mind to focus on and look forward to. We've really been very lucky.

We are coming up on our year mark since we started the process and are just anxious to become parents...The wait is a little harder now so just trying to stay busy...I really wanted our kids home by Christmas but dont know if that will happen now...Here's to becoming parents in 2008!!!!

We have a referral, but no Trip 1 dates in sight!! I am soooooo anxious to get to my baby and get her home!! I keep thinking this process and gonna be easy, but it hasn't been easy yet.............I'm doing the ring chant now.....RING RING RING!!!!

06/2006 Accepted by Agency 07/2006 Starting Homestudy 09/2006 Homestudy complete  10/2006 Sent in I600A with Homestudy 11/2006 Fingerprint appointment and I-171H received ONE WEEK later!! 11/2006 Dossier complete and officially "waiting" 7/2007 WE GOT "THE" CALL!!!!! Accepted referral of a precious girl under the age of 18 months 10/2007 Trip 1 dates! Yay! In Russia Oct.12-18 11/15/07 Trip 2 Court Dates Dec.4-9 YAY!!! 12/2007 Picked up our 19 month old daughter on Christmas Day!

We've been in this game since January 2006. The waiting is getting old, but we are trying to keep busy this fall until we get our referral (hopefully in the next couple of months, but I don't trust any estimates anymore!).

The waiting is driving me insane. We turned in our paperwork about 12 months ago and I just dont see an end in sight.

Court Trip - Nov 14 - 19 3rd Trip Nov 24 - December 1!!!! - Our daughter is home

the waiting stinks... no, it sucks.
please know that there are SO MANY OF US here on this board who understand how you are feeling. it's maddening. and frustrating. and sad. and makes you angry. etc., etc., etc. it slowly drains the life out of you. hang in and keep checking in here. it does help!

The wait just totally bites! Its endless! Its a thesaurus of words I am to tired to type. In the end the dream comes true so we persevere.

As many others have stated the waiting is really really hard, not other way to say it, but the reward at the end is a little angel to call your own, so just keep that in mind and you will get through it.

 Waiting is the absolute pits!!! I've been in the process for almost 22 months. 11 with an agency that went under and 11 with my new agency. I switched to either gender in May thinking it would speed things up, but so far is hasn't. If thing don't start moving soon, I may explode!!
