We are going to the MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS!!
As many of you know I am having a procedure on my back on Monday...so it was soo exciting to get a email from our aoption social worker that the MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS is coming to town THIS WEEKEND! I have never heard of it, and it looks like it is only in FL...but it looks pretty darn neat! We are going on Sunday, I will let you know what it is like! It is so interesting how anything to do with my sweet Hannah's culture just tugs at my heart and makes me feel excited inside!

Lost referral in-country got a new one! 4/11/06 Signed for a 9 1/2 month old girl!! 5/16/06 Leaving on Trip 2 COURT DATES May 23 and 25th! 5/26/06 GOTCHA!! our prayers have been answered!! We welcome our sweet angel Hannah to our family! 6/2/06 Home forever!

Which one are you going too? We are trying to pick a date as well. Looks like it should be an amazing experience.

We are in Boca Raton so not too far away. I have been up in the Ocala area lately so I am pretty close. We are tryong to get tickets for next weekend.

Just got back from the circus...umm..it wasn't too great. It was a "one ring" circus, no animals and was very slow. They started very late because they had a bouncy house and slide on the floor and were charging the kids..and even charging for the face painting and pictures with SpongeBob and Dora...what? yep, they were there. We ended up leaving at the intermission b/c they blew back up all the stuff and started selling more tickets for them..ugh..and they were in no hurry to start the second half b/c people were spending money. We were disappointed, so we finally left. I actually felt sad for the performers..it was in a big sundome but people barely even clapped. So sorry for being so negative, but since adult tickets are 22 plus a 3 dollar feww and kiddos were 11, I didn't want anyone to waster their money. Oh yes, and get this..the first "act" was a motorcycle riding over the crowd with a drive and girls hanging from it..well, it didn't have enough "umph" it kept stalling..they kept having to roll back to the start and try to "catch up speed". That didn't work, so they finally had to drop off one of the women. Sad, sad..i know they must have been so embarrassed..I think most of the crowd felt like "helping" them get to the top :9)
Oh well, at least it was an "experience"..hehe

We actually went to it when it came to our town not too long after our DD came home. We actually liked it though. We could go right up to the ring and meet the performers. There was no motorcycle in ours. There was just mostly balancing, tight rope type of stuff. My husband doesn't like the 'real' circus because of the animals [he feels like they are cruel to them], so this one was perfect.
Yes, it definitely is no Ringling Bros, so it's good to let everyone know that in case that's what they are expecting. :-)
