2 of my kiddos getting surgery

My 8 yo's are going in for surgery tomorrow morning. Alyona will be getting surgery on her radial articulation. This will give her a great usage of her right arm. Bojan will be having surgery on his clubfoot leg this time. They will try and do some work on the leg bones to give him better use of it. Both will be having surgery in the morning. They both have to stay overnight in the hospital. So, yes, I'll be jumping between hospital rooms. We both can't be there at the same time as we have the other kids at home to watch. I'm taking the morning shift. Getting up super early and staying while they get surgery adn recover. My husband will come after dinner and spend the night. I spent the night last time so this time it's his turn. Either way, going ot be a very rough weekend for both of us w/ very little sleep. Not nervous about Bojan's surgery too much. Alyona is a different story. She got clearacne yesterday from cardiology as she has holes in her heart (ASD). Anesthesiologist is still a bit worried. I know they'll watch her very closely. But she seems to be medically fragile in alot of respects. I'm sure they'll both be fine and we'll all eventually get some sleep--LOL. Just wanted to let you all know they are going in and to maybe keep them in your thoughts and prayers for tomorrow morning. Thanks for listening.

Take care,

Stephanie, you will be in my prayers! I hope for great success and little pain for both of your sweet kiddos.
What a week for you! Bring yourself some healthy snacks, as I know you won't take time to go eat something.

Thanks all. Surgery for Alyona is at 8:45 am and for Bojan at 10:00am. Same surgeon for both. They are trying to get them the same hospital room. Yeah. Make it a little easier. We have to be at the hospital at 6:45am. Originally said 5:45 am but I talked them out of it--LOL. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers for them tomorrow.

I'll try to post tomorrow evening some time once I'm home and all the others have settled down as well.

Take care,
