Finalization!
Yesterday morning at our local Family and Probater Courthouse, we finalized the adoption of our dd a little over a year after bringing her home, and the best part, was that it was also dh's birthday.
We invited family and friends to celebrate with us. We filled the courtroom and I think overwhelmed the other family who thought they were there for a quite simple process. Here is a picture of dd in the judges chair!

March 04 Started the process Nov. 04 Dossier sent to Russia Jan. 05 Dossier to Region (Bryansk) July 05 Received Referral of 10 1/2 month old girl - yeah July 05 Trip one - met the love of our life May 06 Trip Two - Court officially named parents June 06 Trip Three bringing our baby home June 06 Home for Good with 21 month old little girl  Waiting No More Last edited by Waiting2Be : 01-27-2009 at 10:27 AM.

Thank you all, we made it a fun day that I think all enjoyed. And for dd who loves when it's all about her, how could she not enjoy it
