we're home - phew!

well, it's definitely an experience you can only understand if you've been thru it. even after hearing everyone's stories on this board for the past 3 years, i didn't really get it. now i do!

i'm so incredibly glad to be home. even tho nothing went drastically wrong on our trip, it's the little stuff that just can about put you over the edge after a while.

the girls did remarkably well, considering. they did their fair share of crying, but, who can blame them?

they only slept about 90 min the entire journey home from moscow to detroit. oy! then went to bed last night after a snack and bath, around 10:30. then, up bright and early at 6:30 - hoo haw!

they are now down for a nap, so i'm trying to post a quick update.

here are some pics from our first two trips. haven't downloaded any pics from this trip yet. maybe next week? ha!

THANK YOU to every one who prayed for us, thought of us, sent us emails and messages. we really felt the support.

it still seems insanely crazy that we have two toddler in the house. insanely!

need to stop. i want to sleep, and also try and streamline the amount of toys that we have out. my husband is a prince and has been doing laundry and packing all morning.

p.s. also thrilled to report that kate will go to my daughter! must be something about the bosom ;o)
at least she's not just stuck to me 24/7. horray!

Glad you are home!

They are beautiful! Know you are really glad to be home after 3 trips. Our daughter also only slept a short time from Moscow to Atlanta. The guy in front of us really appreciated that!!

Take care and rest when you can!!

Have a wonderful time with your new daughters. They are adorable.

HI s!
SOO glad you are home! WOO HOO!! I completely understand though...it is sort of...hmm..a reality check...as wonderful as kiddos are, this process is so fully of dreaming, what ifs.."if we could only get our kids" etc Then the HUGE deep breath when they are ours..then the reality...kiddos are a whole lot of work!!

I know you are incredibly happy..but I am sure in a month or so you will be more rested and everything will start settling. Thanks for the update, I know it is hard to take these few minutes to post but we care so much about you and are very happy we know you are home safe and sound! Your girls look like little dolls they are so precious!!!

Welcome home my friend. Seeing the pictures just brought me tears pouring of joy and relief for you.

As you know i've been home a little over a month and some days I still have to stop and remind myself that it's over, it really is over and Sadie really is ours; they can't take her away, make me jump through any more hoops (other than post placements but that's okay), etc. etc.

They are beautiful, both of them equally, yet so differently!

Hoping they nap and sleep through the night again tonight, how wonderful would that be.
