Votemom's Court was successful!!!
Votemom sent an e-mail saying that Court was successful!!! Thank you, God!!!
They will be back home late tomorrow, returning to Russia on July 16th to pick up the girls. Hopefully, they will be able to share more details when they get home and rest up. I'm so happy for them!

votemom was the first person I met from these boards when I finally found out what region I was going to. She then directed me to Rainy. I still count my blessings for meeting them both. She was with me when I came home from Russia without a child and as I found my daughter in Kazakhstan, but still without her having her adoption completed, i still could not completely rest. As of today, votemom, Rainy, and Dave.........we were all brought together by a small region in Russian, all faced heartache of some kind along the way, but finally we all have found our children!! Thank you Lord!!! It's definitely a day to rejoice

Two boys (5 and 7) Feb 05 to Aug 06 unsuccessful in Russia August 06, changing countries (paperchasing) Oct 06 dossier sent to agency Nov 06 dossier made it through the Embassy, now it's on its way to Kaz!! Dec 06 dossier at the first Ministry (MFA) Jan 06 dossier now at second Ministry (MOE) One more to go.....that's the regional one Still hoping for LOI (letter of invitation) in Jan Jan 31---dossier still at MOE, no LOI in Jan  Feb 16--We know our region--Karaganda Kaz. Last step in the process--wait for LOI March 15 07--received LOI Left for Kaz March 21 Paperwork glitch but decided to stay while it was handled (hence the long time between leaving for trip and court) Court May22, 2007
