Adam has been home for one year last month. I can understand him 80% of the time since I know what sounds he drops and replaces with other sounds. Basically I have learned his language. He doesn't say all words incorrectly, but he is hard to understand when he speaks in sentances.

We will be starting speech therapy soon, but we have one more evaulation to do to next week. I brought him to be tested when we were home at 4 months since I noticed he was dropping syllables and not saying certain sounds and was unable to say them correctly once corrected. I was told it was too soon. So when I brought him back at 10 months they said he does need speech therapy. I looked at them like I told you so. However since the school year was ending soon I had to wait for another evaulation when the summer session began which is next week. They think he may need more then speech therapy.

Adam is also eligible for Title 1 ?? pre-k at our school district which he will begin in late August. Hopefully he will be able to attend both Pre-K classes. The one with our school district and the one with CDD.
