Moving to North Carolina
We will bemoving to Mooresville, North Carolina this month, and was wondering if anyone is from around that area? We cant wait to go, and thought it would be nice if we could connect with other parents of internationally adopted children.

We live in Knightdale, NC, which is about 30 minutes from Morrisville. This is a great area to live in and there are a lot of families with adopted children in the area. A group of us have been talking about getting together for a bbq sometime soon, but we haven't been able to get it organized yet.
When will you be here? Where are you coming from? Liz

You're going to Race City USA?? I just took my father there last month to visit one of the Nascar shops. We may not be super close (2 hours away), but the area is great. We used the same agency and got our referral about the same time as you. Maybe we can meet up some day.

Welcome to the state! When are you moving? Hey Liz, going to work on getting a date for that BBQ soon. Tax time is over, weather's nicer and kids are getting out of school soon. I look at the calender and we'll get something on for that. It's about time we all enjoy the weather and meet some other families.

Welcome to NC!
Hi there and welcome to NC. We live in Cornelius - which is just south of Mooresville. We love it here! Are you on the Lake Norman side or "old" Mooresville side of town? There are some great restaurants and tons of things to do!
There is a great adoption group in Charlotte and I believe that someone is trying to start up a frua group. PM me if you have any questions or need info about the area. --Lisa
