Got new referral! Going independant!
We accepted a referral today from the Kemerovo region. A smilin' baby boy!
Our agency is sending us as an independant. They think our first trip will be next month. I hope they're right as it's been a rough ride so far.

6/19/06 Turned down referral - medicals Heartbroken
6/22/06 Home Study complete

7/27/06 Fingerprinting done
8/12/06 Received I-171H!!
8/14/06 Waiting for travel dates
1/5/07 Started paper chase for baby girl, China
3/20/07 Referral lost
3/28/07 Dossier completed for China adoption.
4/9/07 DTC (China)
4/23/07 LID (China)
5/7/07 Accepted referral- boy-Kemerovo
5/8/07 Going independant! Waiting for travel dates
5/16/07 Trip #1 travel dates! 6/24 to 6/29
8/30/07 Trip #2 dates! 9/29 to 10/11 Court 10/2!
10/2/07 Officially parents to Richard Stephen Oleg!!!
10/16/07 First steps on American soil! Finally!

January 2006 -- signed adoption contract
April 2006 -- dossier submitted to Russia
May 2006 -- agency tried to submit dossier to MoE, but it was not accepted due to impending expiration of accreditation
June 2006 -- agency accreditation expired
September 2006 -- agency NGO registration completed
March 2007 -- updated 1-year-old expiring dossier
August 2007 -- new dossier to a new region
