Picture parade??????
I used to so love looking at these before I brought my little girl home!
Finally she is here and just turned 17 months. She is perfect! She is eating broccoli at the Outback on my birthday, watching the Wiggles with her new barrette, and the bathtub shot!! Let's see some of yours!

Our Princess Tess
I too, loved looking at others photos while we were waiting for a referral and waiting to travel. I loved dreaming what our little girl would look like. For some reason, I thought that seeing photos would warm my heart and it did. I loved looking at the photos and also dreaming and hoping what our little girl would look like---admit it--all of us do that!!! I always thought we would get a little blonde haired blue eyed beauty from Russia--which is what I thought at the beginning is what all little girls from Russia looked like. On Novemember 2, 2006--almost six months ago, we brought home the most beautiful brown haired, brown eyed angel that has totally captivated our lives and filled our hearts and home with the most precious love that we have could of ever imagined. Our bio boys, ages 10 and 8 are head over heels in love with their sister. It truly warms my heart and my DH heart to see that we have raised two of the most compassionate, loving boys we have ever seen. It would not surprise me in the least if our sons did not also adopt a child one day. They still ask, sometimes constantly about the orphanage and wonder how the children are and also how the parents of the children are coping. Our eight year old asked me about two weeks ago that if Tess' mother ever wanted to meet her, would we let her. I asked him what he thought about it before I answered. He said that Tess' mom was probably so sad and worried about Tess and he wished we could send her a letter and let her know how much we love Tess and how much she loves us. It brought tears to my eyes my sweet little boy--He is gong to make some gal really happy!!! Tess had just turned nine months when we got home with her. We love her so...

What great photos everyone has!!! And I agree, the photos posted meant so much to both DH and I while we waited for our turn!!
Here are our two, almost 3 years (boy) and 16 months (girl). We have been home two months and things are still pretty hectic for me on the learning curve!!!

Our girls celebrated their first birthdays with us last month (they are 2 years and 3 days apart). That was the last of the 'firsts' with us. Here are some recent photos.
